White Moss House has just 5 individual bedrooms, a large lounge with log fire , baby grand piano, comfortable sofas and chairs, lots of books, magazines and games, a sunny flower filled terrace, and a cosy dining room where the award winning breakfast is served. There are lake views from the benches in the woodland garden.

White Moss House is the ideal place in the Lake District for a house party. For small groups of friends and families exclusive use of the hotel and restaurant makes this a perfect place for a reunion or celebration.” We had booked exclusive use of the place for the whole weekend, and ate our Saturday evening meal there. Sue phoned me a couple of weeks before she arrived to discuss the menu and explore any dietary preferences, which were willingly accommodated. The meal was super! Breakfast was similarly excellent and afternoon tea/coffee/ filled flasks etc all willingly provided at a very reasonable additional cost.
