NEWS- The AA Has just awarded us 4 Star Guest House, with a special Breakfast Award.
With an explosion of new restaurants, cafes, bistros and gastro pubs, the choice of dining in the Lakes is outstanding.
Stay centrally at White Moss, just 1 mile from Grasmere and 2 miles from Ambleside, for a truly flexible holiday, with top class B & B, and a wide choice of dining options.
Large free car park for our guests; great walking from the door.
A choice of great value wines and drinks from our bar . Enjoy the Wordsworth lounge with its cosy sofas and log fire, or relax on the terrace on sunny days.

WHITE MOSS DINING CLUB WEEKENDS.
Our award winning gourmet 5 course dinner is available only on special weekends,for a 3 night Thursday, Friday Saturday package, or for private houseparties.

The remaining dates for the 2008 dining Club Weekends are;

5, 6 and 7 June ( just 1 standard room left)

11, 12 and 13 September (a choice of rooms still available- one standard room is for Friday and Saturday only, at £199 per person)

9, 10 and 11 October ( 1 smaller and 1 standard available)

13, 14 and 15 November (sorry, fully booked)

The rate for the smaller room is £255, and for the standard room £285. This is per person, for the 3 night package, including dinners and breakasts.

SELF CATERING
For longer stays, ( usually 3 night minimum) Brockstone Cottage is great for self catering. Flexible changeover days. Please click on the link on the Accomodation page for more information and prices for this very special cottage, with fantastic views over Loughrigg Terrace, where Rene Zellweger filmed the Beatrix Potter movie.

HOUSE PARTIES
We are ideal for small Houseparties- take all 5 rooms in the main house and enjoy exclusive use of White Moss House. B & B for up to 10 people from as little as £390 per night for midweek to £490 at weekends- 2 night minimum stay. Brockstone may be added for parties up to 14. Dinner available for a special occasion.

Cancellation Policy.
We request a deposit of £50 per room. If a room is cancelled with 4 weeks notice this is returned less 25%. For cancellations with less than 4 weeks notice the deposit is retained.If the booking is cancelled with less than 1 week's notice we will try our best to relet the accomodation, but reserve the right to charge in full if the rooms are not re let.
