The AA has awarded us their prestigious 4 Star Guest House rating, with a special Breakfast Award.The AA has very high standards, so we are delighted with this!

Our award winning gourmet 5 course dinner is available only on special weekends,for a 3 night Thursday, Friday Saturday package, or for private houseparties.

WHITE MOSS HOUSE DINING CLUB WEEKENDS 2010

We will be offering our 3 night dinner, room and breakfast packages , Thursday, Friday and Saturday. These are the dates still to come in 2010, and the current availablity.

2, 3 and 4 September.( one smaller room in the main house still available all 3 nights)If you would like the Friday and Saturday night only in our smaller room, please email me - we may be able to offer you a 2 night stay.

30 September, 1 and 2 October Fully booked, sorry.

11, 12 and 13 November.( only Brockstone Cottage available)

The rate will be £290 per person in rooms 2 and 4 , and £320 per person in rooms 1, 3 and 5, This is for all 3 nights, for guests sharing a double room.
Brockstone Cottage may also be available for short breaks these weekends for up to 4 guests- please enquire for rates.

HOUSEPARTIES.

Special Birthday, Anniversary, Reunion, Walking weekend........? Stay in a Wordsworth House, in the heart of the lakes, enjoy our famous meals, walk from our door in Wordsworth's footprints, and let us look after you and your guests.

Bookings for 2011 are now being taken. You would take all 5 rooms in the main house for exclusive use for up to 10 people, with the option of taking Brockstone Cottage for up to 4 extra guests.The beautiful Wordsworth Lounge with log fire, and our flower filled terrace and garden, would be available only to your party.

The dining room would also be available exclusively to your party for breakfast and dinner.

Rates for all 5 rooms in the main house are £480 to £550 for up to 10 guests inclusive of breakfast.Lowest rates are for 3 night midweek parties. Higher rates are for 2 night weekend parties.
Dinner is also available for your private party.

SELF CATERING at Brockstone Cottage.
For longer stays, ( usually 3 night minimum) Brockstone Cottage is great for self catering. Flexible changeover days. Please click on the link on the Accomodation page for more information and prices for this very special cottage, with fantastic views over Loughrigg Terrace, where Rene Zellweger filmed the Beatrix Potter movie.

Cancellation Policy.
We request a deposit of £50 per room. If a room is cancelled with 4 weeks notice this is returned less 25%. For cancellations with less than 4 weeks notice the deposit is retained.If the booking is cancelled with less than 1 week's notice we will try our best to relet the accomodation, but reserve the right to charge in full if the rooms are not re let.
For our special dining club weekends we request £100 deposit, and pre payment in full 6 weeks before arrival.
Guests are recommended to take out insurance to cover costs that may arise in case of cancellation.
